Celebrate the birth of 2022 with the elements of Water and Earth on the beautiful land of Costa Rica!
Join Gaby Borelli for a harmonizing adventure by the ocean and through the mountains. We will cultivate the qualities of the elements Water and Earth to support us in our 2022 intentions. The ocean will support us in releasing the past and create a clear awareness for our bodies, minds, and soul. The mountains will support us in connecting more deeply with ourselves and each other. Here we will get rooted in our intentions and continue the celebration of new beginnings with expressive adventures like forest bathing, cacao ceremony and ecstatic dance.
CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
What to expect in Gaby's classes?
Gaby’s classes are warm, empowering, and nourishing. She threads breath linked movement and body-heart-mind awareness to create a space where students can inquire and reveal their wisdom of heart. Her style of teaching blends the qualities of effort and ease. The quality of effort is evoked through her guidance of alignment focused cuing and ease is evoked through guided relaxation and meditations. She holds space in a way that is grounding, supportive and invites you to come into your mat just as you are! You can expect her to share stories and insight from her direct experience as a student of yoga.
Workshop Title #1: Harmonizing Intention - Water
Inspired by the ocean surrounding us, we will explore, embody, and reflect on the element of water. An exploration of your 2022 intentions will be supported by a guided meditation and journaling prompt. Embody the qualities of water - releasing and clarifying through a slow flow movement practice. End with deep relaxation and reflective journaling to journey within and enhance your intentions.
Workshop Title #2: Harmonizing Intentions - Earth
Inspired by the mountains surrounding us, we will touch down and land on the Earth. With more spaciousness from our Water inspired experiences, we will harmonize and feel the warm, nurturing embrace of Earth. You will enjoy an extended yin + restorative practice that weaves in poetry inspired by nature’s wisdom. End with a grounding meditation and reflective journaling to connect your heart with your intentions.
RETREAT LOCATION
Costa Rica is a laid back country, full of friendly welcoming people that fully embrace the “Pura Vida”. Pura Vida meaning “pure life” is a happy feel-good expression used for everything from saying hello and goodbye, to telling people you’re having an awesome day. Locals embody this Pura Vida mentality and have woven it into their lives in a very real way. You can quickly see how this laid back philosophy has become a pivotal part of people living long, healthy and happy lives down here.
We'll be based at Encantada Ocean Cottages and Vida Mountain, both laid back boutique properties located in the quiet beach town of Esterillos Este on the Central Pacific coast and within the Mountains . Expect quaint tropical settings with villas and cottages scattered amongst palm trees and lush gardens. Known for having the cleanest, most pristine beaches in the area, surfers flock to Este for its miles of uncrowded beach breaks. The beaches are quiet, picturesque and the perfect tropical setting to post-up and soak in some rays. In the mountains enjoy heated saltwater pools and jacuzzis; epic hikes and activities, including forest therapy and indulge in the beauty of this enchanting destination.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
A $250 USD Non Refundable initial deposit will secure your spot on the retreat or you may choose to pay in full. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the retreat start date.
Please note, our cancellation policy is as follows:

Initial deposits are strictly non refundable.

If cancelled 90 days before the Retreat start date, your initial deposit may be transferable to another retreat.

If cancelled 60 days or less prior to the Retreat start date, 100% of the Retreat price is forfeited.

If you choose to join the Retreat after the start date or leave the Retreat prior to the end date, full payment of the Retreat price will apply.
Please do not book your flight until you have received a confirmation to do so. You will be provided with instructions on when to arrive/depart along with travel agent details to assist you with your flight booking (or you may book your flight on your own).
An information package will be sent 15 days prior to departure and will include the retreat schedule, recommended packing list and trip details.
IMPORTANT COVID ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
All tourists entering Costa Rica must complete a Health Pass form upon entry into the country.
Tourists who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must attach their vaccination certificate to the Health Pass app.
Tourists not vaccinated, with incomplete vaccination or vaccinated with a serum other than those admitted by the Costa Rican authorities, must purchase mandatory travel insurance that covers specifics such as lodging in case of quarantine and medical expenses due to COVID-19, as detailed here:

Unvaccinated travellers will need to show Adzenture Retreats a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of retreat start.
COVID TESTING FOR YOUR RETURN HOME:
For entry back into your home country, we will arrange for COVID testing to be done 48-72 hours prior to our departure (at your own cost $), and will ensure your results are delivered the day before departure.
ALL US air travellers returning to the US need a negative Covid-19 test taken within ONE days of their departing flight.
Please carefully read all of the COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures that will be implemented and we will require you to follow.
