Join Vera Brown on a journey to self love through creative movement in the beautiful land of Costa Rica. 

 

This retreat will include daily yoga practice, workshops and exploration through the beautiful jungle & beaches of Costa Rica. We will work through the 7 main centres of energy within the human body igniting our inner flame and our spiritual power.

YOGA & WORKSHOPS

What to expect in Vera's classes? 

Each day we will enjoy a different energizing morning flow aimed at building strength, stimulate our creativity and getting us ready for our adventures!  In the evening we will unwind with a restorative Yin Sequence to promote flexibility and a good night’s rest.

Workshops 1 - Ignite your Spiritual Power - Chakra Sequence 

An intelligent flow designed to liberate & balance the subtle body. We will explore the 7 main centers of energy within the human body through a harmonious Hatha Fusion followed by Pranayama practice and Meditation. 

Duration - 2 hours

Workshop 2 -  Ignite your Inner Flame - The Power of Feelings

Once our Spiritual Energy is unlocked we suddenly find ourselves ready to get in touch with our emotions and set them free.

This fluid blend of Heart & Hip Openers invites you to dig deeper into your soul, and fall in love with who you really are in the process.

RETREAT LOCATION

​

Costa Rica is a laid back country, full of friendly welcoming people that fully embrace the “Pura Vida”. Pura Vida meaning “pure life” is a happy feel-good expression used for everything from saying hello and goodbye, to telling people you’re having an awesome day. Locals embody this Pura Vida mentality and have woven it into their lives in a very real way. You can quickly see how this laid back philosophy has become a pivotal part of people living long, healthy and happy lives down here.

We'll be based at Encantada Ocean Cottages, a laid back boutique hotel located in the quiet beach town of Esterillos Este on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Expect a quaint tropical setting with villas and cottages scattered amongst palm trees and lush gardens just steps away from the captivating beaches of the pacific ocean. Known for having the cleanest, most pristine beaches in the area, surfers flock to Este for its miles of uncrowded beach breaks. The beaches are quiet, picturesque and the perfect tropical setting to post-up and soak in some rays.

RETREAT INCLUSIONS

• 5 Nights accommodation at Encantada Ocean Cottages

• Roundtrip group airport transfer (at select time)

• Daily vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) starting with dinner on Day 1 and ending with breakfast on Day 6

• Daily yoga classes and workshops led by Vera

• Avatar Waterfall Experience - Hike to Tres Piscinas waterfall and blue clay full body masks to pamper ourselves

• Horseback riding tour through the river valley, along the foothills of forested mountains and a chance to swim at El Encanto waterfall 

• Cacao ceremony with singing bowls

• Airfare to San Jose, Costa Rica (Airport code: SJO). Please do not book your flight until you receive instructions. 

• Optional/extra activities you'd like to partake in such as surf lessons, monkey mangrove tours, zip lining etc.  

• Travel Visa to Costa Rica - Not required for American or Canadian passport holders. Please check for entry/exit requirements based on the passport you hold http://www.costarica-embassy.org

• Travel Insurance (medical & trip cancellation) is mandatory to protect you in case of any unforeseen emergencies. Proof of purchase is required before trip departure.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

A $500 USD Non Refundable initial deposit will secure your spot on the retreat or you may choose to pay in full. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the retreat start date.

​

Please note, our cancellation policy is as follows: 

• Initial deposits are strictly non refundable.

• If cancelled 90 days before the Retreat start date, your initial deposit may be transferable to another retreat.  

• If cancelled 60 days or less prior to the Retreat start date, 100% of the Retreat price is forfeited.

• If you choose to join the Retreat after the start date or leave the Retreat prior to the end date, full payment of the Retreat price will apply.

 

Please do not book your flight until you have received a confirmation to do so.  You will be provided with instructions on when to arrive/depart along with travel agent details to assist you with your flight booking (or you may book your flight on your own).

​An information package will be sent 15 days prior to departure and will include the retreat schedule, recommended packing list and trip details. 

 

​IMPORTANT COVID ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 

All tourists entering Costa Rica must complete a Health Pass form upon entry into the country.

 

Tourists who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must attach their vaccination certificate to the Health Pass app.

​

Tourists not vaccinated, with incomplete vaccination or vaccinated with a serum other than those admitted by the Costa Rican authorities, must purchase mandatory travel insurance that covers specifics such as lodging in case of quarantine and medical expenses due to COVID-19, as detailed here:

Unvaccinated travellers will need to show Adzenture Retreats a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of retreat start.

​

COVID TESTING FOR YOUR RETURN HOME:

For entry back into your home country, we will arrange for COVID testing to be done 48-72 hours prior to our departure (at your own cost $), and will ensure your results are delivered the day before departure.

ALL US air travellers returning to the US need a negative Covid-19 test taken within ONE days of their departing flight.
